David G. Southard began his career in the early 1960s and became first a partner and then a full owner after the firm moved to its present location in 1972. R. Christopher Beckham joined the firm in 1979 after working with a local firm in California for six years. Kim M. Atwater and Arlene J. Berry joined the firm in the late 1970s and became shareholders in the 1980s. Debbie Corrington and Todd Eggers joined the firm in the late 1990s and became shareholders in 2005. Brad Buskirk joined the firm in August 2007 when the firm of Tucker & Buskirk merged with Southard, Beckham, Atwater & Berry, CPA PS. Brad became a shareholder in 2008. The firm currently employees eleven licensed Certified Public Accountants.
Each shareholder has been a member of the Washington Society of Certified Public Accountants and American Institute of Certified Public Accountants from the date each obtained their Washington State license to the present date.
As a part of our firm's commitment to the community we practice and reside in, each shareholder volunteers a portion of their time each year to various nonprofit community service organizations.
